DOW (Drinks of the Week) 16 Mile Brewing Tiller Brown Ale

Featured this week is one last one from 16 Mile Brewing Company.  This week we went IMG_3794.jpg with the Brown Tiller.   6.1% ABV and 13 IBU’s which gives you that fall beer flavor.  This came at a good time because that bitch Mother Nature decided to drop a damn Nor Easter on us.  She needs to knock this shit off.  Some one needs to get her a man to occupy her time so she can stop giving us weird ass weather.

Tiller Brown has nice color and a smooth flavor.  This English Brown ale is delicious and deserves a spot in the Garage Fridge.  I don’t normally go with beer like this but like I said earlier it came at the right time.  I sat an enjoyed this full bodied beer while listening to some easy going music and reading.  I encourage you to pick some up.

Other Beers from this Week:

YEASTMODE!!! When you say this beer you have to cup your hands around your mouth and yell into the air, YEASTMODE!!! The beer will then magically appear in your hand.  This brew comes from Brick Works in Smyrna Delaware.  Decent Beers and good food.  It took the waitress a few minutes to talk me into the scrapple perogies.  I will tell you if you are passing through Delaware and you are near Brick Works I highly recommend the Scrapple Perogies with the BLT Salad.  NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM.

Yeastmode Blonde Ale – 5% ABV 16 IBU

We went to Scully’s for some day drinking on Friday.  I tried two beers while hanging out with the wifey.  The first was Founders All Day IPA which is about 4.7% ABV and 42 IBU.  This was a little on the bitter end for me but was still a good beer.  The second beer was Olde School  from Dogfish Head.  Holy Shit this thing cranks out at 15% Alcohol.  This is the type of stuff that makes you see sounds.

St. Paddy’s Day party!!!!! Yeah it was a lot of kids beer ( Miller and Coors) but I still had a blast.  We hung with some awesome people and had a great time.  The best part was we won the door prize which ended up being about $300 bucks worth of alcohol.  Yeah like we needed more.
