Featured Beer: Nut Crusher Peanut Butter Porter 6% ABV and only 18 IBU’s.
This weeks brew comes from Redmond, Oregon from Wild Ride Brewing Company. These guys have been around since 2014 serving up great beers. I don’t normally grab Porters, especially those with crazy flavors. This beer claimed to be basically a peanut butter cup in a bottle. I have to give these dudes credit this thing was good. The peanut butter was subtle and the beer went down well. I was surprised that it was so good. I can’t tell you that I will ever crave this beer but it was nice for Easter Weekend. If your into Porter’s and Porters with peanut butter flavor I highly suggest this one. Plus there is an elephant on water ski’s on the label. So there’s that.
I got to enjoy these while conducting happy hour with the family. The night was easy-going and we talked about all kinds of things, but mainly stories of good times in the past. I am pretty sure that I have locked in a trip to London in October to see the Philadelphia Eagles play. Plus I get to expand my International Beer drinking.
Other Beers and Drinks and Shit: ( Most Provided by my Awesome beer Neighbor Ian)
Weyerbacher’s Wingman: Packing only 4.5% ABV this light brew got the night started.
Terrapin’s Panama Krunkles – 6.5% ABV and 77 IBU’s . This was the Surprise Brew of the weekend. I really didn’t think I would like this one but it was really good.
Lagunitas Brewing Co. : We had two from these guys. Lagunitas always cranks our some good beers. This week we had Sumpin Easy and Born Again Yesterday.
Sumpin Easy: 5.7% ABV and 50 IBU’s.
Born Again Yesterday 7% ABV and IBU’s is just labeled HIGH.
Evil Genius Brewing: Stacy’s Mom: 7.5% ABV and 85 IBU’s – Not bad. This was the first time I have had Evil Genius. Good Start. Way to high on the IBU’s for me but the beer flavor was nice, or I was just drunk and I am making up this up in my head. Either way give is shot.
Remember to Never drink alone because that shit is boring, and talking to yourself is weird. Like subway crazy weird.
