This week we are trying Straight to Ale Brewing Company’s “He Ain’t Hefe.” These guys were founded in 09 and are located in Huntsville, Alabama. My buddy Mike highly recommends stopping there if you are driving through. They are housed in a vacant middle school where they have changed the beer game in Alabama. Thanks for making great brews boys.
Style: German Style Hefeweizen
He Ain’t Hefe is a delicious brew and made a great night cap after a long day. This beer will 100% end up back in my garage fridge. I love a good Hefeweizen especially in the summer time. I had to work this weekend so it was nice to end it with a tall glass of this amazing elixir. Don’t be put off by the War Goat on the front, it tastes awesome. I hope to have a couple of these while sitting by the fire pit this summer. I raise a glass to you Straight to Ale Prost!!!!!!
Beers, Drinks, and Other Shit:
I only had one other drink this week and came right after a hot day of yard work and cutting grass. My body Tim text me that he had a nice glass of Jameson on the Rocks. Well Hell you don’t have to ask me twice. We sat outside talking about middle age neighborhood stuff and enjoyed a wonderful glass of that amazing Irish Whiskey. Thanks TIM.
From DE Brew Trail:
Levante Brewing Company in West Chester, PA. – I need to get up there and check this place out. Like so many others they began with a 3 gallon home brew kit. The rest is history. These guys are on my list now.
Blue Earls Big Boss Man – Brew trail drank it, they liked it, I will now drink it. I trust them. There is just something about that place that makes me keep going back.
Check back Next Week when we try Mason Ale Works White Ale.
Remember to Never Drink it’s boring and besides its way better when someone else tells your tales of buffoonery.
