THE FACTS: NUT BROWN ALE
ABV: 6.0%
IBU’s: 38
STYLE: American Brown Ale
WAS IT GOOD: This was supposed to be a roasty smooth brew and guess what, it was. I drank this guy while preparing for my 4-year-olds birthday party. After cutting grass and pulling some bushes I sat on the deck and let the rest of the afternoon drift away. This was a good relaxing brew that helped me end a good day.
GARAGE FRIDGE ADDITION: I would get it again. I don’t normally drink brown ales but I got a few buddies that enjoy them. I will say that this is a good fire pit autumn brew. It’s almost hoodie season folks.
THE FACTS: AMBER ALE
ABV: 6.0%
IBU’s: 34
STYLE: American Amber / Red Ale
WAS IT GOOD: Damn Good. I really liked this one. Much like the last brew it is great for this time of year. Now that the temps are dropping and sweatpants are coming out. This was a good social beer to sit and talk to your boys. I drank these guys while friends and family came over for the kiddo’s birthday party. Like all kids parties, it eventually turns into an adult party. The brews were flowing as quickly as the good times.
GARAGE FRIDGE ADDITION: For this time of the year yes! This is a good addition and given the chance, I would throw a couple of sixers in the fridge. This is a good tailgate brew before and after football games.
