Established in 2010 Core Brewing Company has quickly established it’s self in the craft beer market of Arkansas. Not only has the joint become a great brewer but they have opened multiple brewpubs called the Core Public House. Maybe one day I’ll get the courage up to do my own thing, meanwhile, I’ll live vicariously through others. So here’s to you CORE, Cheers!!!! ONTO THE FACTS:
The Facts: Arkansas Red
ABV: 5.2%
IBU’s: 19
Style: American Red Ale
WAS IT GOOD: I didn’t enjoy it as much as the Warthog. It was good for an American Red the only problem is that I don’t care for those too much. Why drink it you say, I liked to be surprised at times. You never know when you’re going to get a beer and be like, “DAMN THAT’S GOOD.” You know, like the day you realized you finally acquired a taste for beer.
GARAGE FRIDGE ADDITION: Nope, I still don’t have a thing for American Reds. It’s good for the style just not for my palette.
The Facts: Warthog
ABV: 4.7%
IBU’s: 19
Style: Munich Style Helles
WAS IT GOOD: Funny thing I was finishing a glass of this wonderful drink when Alex Smith of the Redskins broke his leg in half. I almost lost it. Love the can, the name, and the brew. I am a fan of Helles and this one was a good one. Really enjoyed it while I relaxed on a lazy Saturday and Football Sunday.
GARAGE FRIDGE ADDITION: Helles Yeah!!! See what I did there. You see it and you like it.
SURPRISE OF THE WEEK: Miller “THE CHAMPAGNE OF BEER” literally
SOME OTHER BREWS:
