DOW (Drinks of the Week) : Dewey Beer Company & Blue Earl

Christ ole mighty I am two weeks behind on these things. This week we stayed local again with Dewey Beer Company and Blue Earl Brewing. We got some Ass Kick-In Chicken and Abra-Ca Joao-C. These were gifts from friends and joyfully excepted. Onto the facts:

FACTS: Ass Kickin Chicken (Dewey Beer Co.)

ABV: 5.2%

IBU’s: N/A

STYLE:  Pilsner – Czech

WAS IT GOOD: This was my Favorite of the two I had. This brew was knock out good. Especially since we had some good friends over it made the night that much better. This is a brew that will get the good times going. I thank the Curley’s for hooking us up. Cheers.

GARAGE FRIDGE ADDITION: Absolutely. This will be a most have.

THE FACTS: Abra-Ca Joo-C

ABV: 8.4%

IBU’s: 35

STYLE:  Imperial / Double New England

WAS IT GOOD: I didn’t think I would enjoy this one but I did. I am hard pressed to find a brew from Blue Earl that I don’t like. I loved the deep golden color and smoothness of it. I will be chasing this one down again in the future.

GARAGE FRIDGE ADDITION: Not sure if I’ll add it but if I am out and about and see it, I will surely drink it.
