This past week we enjoyed a couple of brews from Bronx Brewing Company out of New York. I was able to get my hands on these via a good buddy that travels to New York a few times a year. His family has one of those lakeside places that make you jealous. Sometimes the photos look so great that I am beginning to think the place is made up. I know one thing though, the beer sure as hell isn’t. Thanks, Chris, now onto the brews!!!!
THE FACTS: Bronx Brewery is crafted after the borough in which it resides. The attitude and grit that exists within this town also exist within their brews. This week we bring to you two of those brews in “No Resolutions” and “American Pale Ale.”
THE BEER: No Resolutions
STYLE: Indian Pale Ale
WAS IT GOOD: Strong maybe the word I would use here. If you are looking to time travel a bit then 8 of these dudes can do it. As the name goes have no resolutions though. Me personally I wouldn’t change a thing. I may be IPA’d out but this guy wasn’t too bad.
GARAGE FRIDGE ADDITION: If I was enjoying a weekend at the lake house doing some fishing I could easily add this guy to the fridge.
THE BEER: American Pale Ale
STYLE: Pale Ale
WAS IT GOOD: Look this is the brew that started it all for the Bronx Brew Company. It is a difficult thing for your original to have great staying power. Whatever magic they are using in this one they need to keep. This was my favorite of the two brews this week. This was a simple Ale with good flavor.
GARAGE FRIDGE ADDITION: I would for my Pale Ale drinking friends.
Next Weeks Brews are from
