CigarClub. com January 2019 Unboxing

If you can’t tell by now, I’m a Cigar freak and I love Cigar of the Month Clubs. Currently, I am a member of three. Cigarclub.com being one of them and they have worked to create a different experience other than just mailing out the same cigars to all their subscribers. Once you log onto the website you’re asked to take a short quiz. This is used by Cigarclub.com to help them understand your flavor profile and palate. You also have a choice between receiving three cigars per month (The Corona) or five cigars per month (the Churchill). Needless to say, I get the Churchill box. So, let’s dive into the unboxing of the Cigarclub.com January 2019 Box.

Prior to opening the box, you will notice a white bag that is used for shipping purposes. This bag helps protect it from some weather conditions but mostly theft. People would see the Cigarclub.com box and snatch it up.

Once you open the bag the beautiful box is revealed for all to see.

All Cigarclub.com boxes come with Boveda Humidity protection. That way if your box gets lost or delayed for any reason your sticks will still arrive nice and fresh to your front door. You can see the label on the bottom right denoting the Boveda humidification.

Upon opening the box, you have a hand signed letter letting you know that your box was hand-picked and packed by one of the employees at Cigarclub.com. You will also see tasting note cards which is a really nice addition, an extra treat (differs every box) and the black bag containing the cigars!

Flipping the bag over you’ll see the Boveda stamp once again

The five cigars that I received this month are:
1) Alec Bradley Black Market Esteli – Toro 6×52
2) Room 101 Farce – Robusto 5×52
3) Villiger San’Doro Colorado – Robusto 5×50
4) Tatuaje Fausto – Robusto Extra 5.5×52
5) Rocky Patel Vintage 1999 Connecticut – Robusto 5.5×50

Overall Impressions:
This is my second month receiving the Cigarclub.com box and so far, it has provided a great experience at a great value. The cost is $45 per month for the Churchill box and well worth it. The only knock is that I’d like to see a better selection of Vitola’s in the box. The past two boxes consisted only of Toro’s and Robusto’s. If this sounds like something you might enjoy clicking on the link below and take the palate test and sit back and wait for your box to enjoy!
