Recently the misses and I traveled to the lovely land of Buffalo, home of the original chicken wing. We have friends that live in the area and yes they are Bills fans. Terrible I know right. They didn’t even jump through a table when we tailgated. Why did we go there you ask, well to see the Eagles kick the Bills assess of course. This was my first away game because I can’t count the shitty Ravens. It was actually a cool town and we enjoyed some great beers and even had the chance to visit a couple of brewers while we were there. Check out below on some of those delicious treats. CHEERS!!!!!!!!!!
Easter week we decided to go to the Outer Banks for a little family vaca. Nothing like relaxing and throwing back some great brews by the beach. For myself it was the first time I had ever been to the Outer Banks and to be honest I can’t wait to get back. We stayed in Avon and took a day trip to Ocracoke and hung out at Howard’s Pub and 1718 Brewing Company. The rest of the week contained bad ideas, more beer, and some damn good times. Onto the Beers!!!!!!
Odessa Brewfest is an amazing drinking experience that I love to go to each year. The people are great, the vendor’s rock and the brewers get to show off their amazing drinks. This year the weatherman screwed up because it was rainy and overcast all day but the good times shined through.
Saturday we got down at the Delaware Taco Festival and had a blast. The rain never came when we were there and we ran into some old friends everytime we turned around. I had about 4 tacos and drank a bunch of beer from Sol. The atmosphere was great and the food and brews even better. Great time.
Hell to the Yeah!!!!! Dude what a time to be alive with one brewery after another opening up these days. Saturday we finally got to visit Midnight Oil Brewing Company. Click the blue link to check them out. I had heard a lot of great things and finally headed over to check them our for myself. This is a brewery that is young, hungry, and not afraid to put in the hard work.
I will be away for business during this one but Beer Under the Big Top looks like a blast. This event is taking place 2 June 2018, with VIP starting at 12:30 and regulars common folk at 1:30. Who cares which ticket you get they have over a 150 Beers being served and a ton of other things going on. I am actually pissed that I can’t attend this one. DAMN WORK!!!! I need to hit the lottery and just be able to travel the world like I won’t to. I am sulking right now, deep breath in, stare at the ceiling, eyes back to the screen, sip of my coffee, ok I am back now.
