This past week plenty of beer was needed and needed badly. We were able to get our hands on two brews from a Western New York brewer in Hamburg Brewing Company. This week we took the edge off with their “Hoppenstance,” and “OMS” brews. If your ever in the Buffalo area just travel about twenty minutes south and check out one of the nicest breweries around. Let’s get on with the Fact’s, CHEERS!!!!!!!
This past week we enjoyed a couple of brews from Bronx Brewing Company out of New York. I was able to get my hands on these via a good buddy that travels to New York a few times a year. His family has one of those lakeside places that make you jealous. Sometimes the photos look so great that I am beginning to think the place is made up. I know one thing though, the beer sure as hell isn’t. Thanks, Chris, now onto the brews!!!!
This review is slightly delayed since I have taken a break from my debauchery for a couple of weeks. I had to let the mind and body heal after what I call eating season. That is a period from November to January in which I overindulge in food and drink. Prost happened to be my brew of choice to ring in the new year. I joyfully enjoyed their Kolsch and Dunkel. Here are the facts.
I am bringing this one to you late as all hell. My bad its kind of been a long week. I drank a shit ton beer, went to the Monday night football game, and battled the shits all week. My bad, I apologize to the three or four people that actually click the link for this. Last weeks DOW was from Fordham & Dominion Brewing Co. straight out of Delaware. That’s right bitches, the first state. I love their pin-up girls so this week we went with Candi and Morning Glory. ONTO THE FACTS!!!!!!!
We bring you two different brews this week with Twin Lakes Fortify IPA and Rogue Brewings Dead Guy Ale. These brews come from both sides of the Country. Rogue hales from Newport, Oregon, and Twin Lakes resides in Newport, Delaware. Wait, WTF, is this some kind of travelers parallel universe. I not sure on how to proceed with this but go into the review. CHEERS!!!!! ONTO THE FACTS!!!!!
This week’s DOW comes from North Carolina. The boys from HI-Wire Brewing Company rock a circus theme for their brews. This week we are trying out their Lo-Pitch Juicy IPA and the Hi-Wire lager. Their Hi-Wire took first place at the NC Brewers cup for German Style Pilsner. I am super excited to give these guys a try. Onto the Facts: Cheers!!!!!
These dudes have been killing beer for nearly 25 years. They have raked in awards and are one of the best brewpubs in the U.S. Sly Fox Brewing Company makes a wide array of brews ranging from Irish Style Stouts, American Lagers, to German Pilsners. There are far too many for me to try in one week, but I will give four of them hell this week. They have too many awards to list but I think the coolest thing is their 360-degree lid, MIND BLOWN! Onto the FACTS, Cheers!!!!!!
What goes great with cheese, hell yeah your right, beer. From the great state of Wisconsin, we bring you Central Waters Brewing Company. These guys have been making beer for 20 years after becoming beasties in college. This week I am excited to be trying their Honey Blonde Ale and their HHG (Horseshoes and Hand Grenades) APA, which scored 90 Points with Beer Connoisseur. Onto the drinks:
Coming to your from Cincinnati Ohio I give you Mt. Carmel Brewing Company Cincinnati’s oldest microbrewery. Mike Dewey and his wife founded Mt. Carmel in 2005. If your ever in Cincinnati head over to Mt. Carmel, CHEERS!!!!!
